More accurately, if you claim you used Claude, I will assume absolutely anything produced with it has a high chance of being rife with errors. If you provided citations for every last detail and then said Claude put it together, I wouldn’t trust it until I’ve personally verified the sources because not only will it hallucinate details, it’ll hallucinate sources. Anything produced with it is inherently untrustworthy.

Yeah, but the only source explicitly provided in this hypothetical is the hallucination machine.
Because we don’t see all that research, we just see a comment where you said you asked the hallucination machine, so now, if I want to use anything you said, I have to go duplicate all that research before I can trust it.

2·15 days agoOriginal comment was lamenting inability to record at 4k 60 FPS, but I thought they wanted to view 4k on the phone, like with a 4k display. If I remember right, the detail would be too fine to really matter on a phone screen, but if you’re recording instead, you can obviously just watch on something else and I sound like an idiot.

51·15 days agoNobody asked you? Why do we care what you think?
Nobody asked you in particular, either, but here we are like 3-4 replies deep anyway. Even if we had, you’ve refused to answer so you can act like a smug cunt instead, so you’d apparently be useless at it anyway.
Sounds to me like you’re insecure and looking for a free handout instead of being able to come up with a coherent reason for why you’re owed something you’ve not earned.
My guy, then just shut the fuck up. You don’t have to use it as an opportunity to grandstand and fellate yourself for being so smart to get it. You could just say nothing if you don’t want to actually contribute. Honestly, you’ve been worse than useless here.

It may play a small part in why we struggle to get a consistent and precise value for the gravitational constant. We can get a lot of digits consistently, but we can’t quite seem to agree on the exact value beyond a certain point.
Of course, I think the leading theory has a lot more to do with material and therefore density variations throughout the crust and mantle, maybe core but probably less so. Still, standing in certain spots is going to get you slight tugs in different directions, and it may not matter when you’re only after a few digits, but when you decide you want all of them… Little things start to matter.
It’s impossible to say for sure from what they said. Depends on how it accumulated and how the housing prices have evolved in their area. Could be linear, could be exponential.
I’m not opposed to people paying their taxes, they definitely should, but I do think it’s kind of a dick move to take the whole house if they don’t pay the taxes. At least, for a relatively modest home owned by its primary resident who has no other home. For landlords and property speculators, though, 100% keep the property tax and use it to keep them from taking too much housing. Same for second homes, if you can afford two, you can afford taxes on one. I just don’t think we should ever tax someone into literal homelessness.
I think you don’t own it so much as you lease it for like 80 years, maybe 100. I don’t remember specifics, though.
I think you’re right, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s irrelevant. It is not my responsibility as a customer to make sure someone’s employees get paid adequately. That’s the responsibility of their employer. If they can’t afford to run their business while paying their workers appropriately, then I’m really sorry your goals didn’t work out, but you’re running a failed business and just haven’t admitted it yet.
Why is that our problem as customers, though? Why are we expected to subsidize worker wages instead of employers actually paying the workers that are critical to their success? Why do we let employers get away with the insultingly paltry wage of $2.15/hour?
Don’t get me wrong, if you use a service where workers are reliant on tips, you should tip, but I’d rather just avoid the hassle most of the time. I’d eat out a fair bit more often if not for the not-mandatory-but-totally-mandatory 15-20% extra to subsidize the owner’s greed.

0·1 month agoHave you tried stuff like WINE? I thought I’d heard of people using FL Studio without much issue, but I may be confusing it with another program.
Pretty much. I suppose the way it’s written isn’t a fuck you, but the fact it’s on the list certainly is. The only way to get more specific is to include your instance. Technically, unless there’s something I’m missing about the block list since I don’t know much, this would match your username but on any instance, not just specifically you on Lemmy.dbzer0.com
Pretty sure that’s regex, so yeah, you’re kinda on the list. If you made a new account with a different number on the end, you’d still trigger the block. If it ended with $ on top of starting with ^, though, then it would need to be an exact match.

I think that’s largely true in the US, at least.
