Now in a new job that doesn’t have meetings. At all. I think our manager protects us from them. Or perhaps he protects the rest of the company from us?
Most (good) managers don’t want to be in these meetings any more than you do. Especially since they’d have to be the one running it and doing a lot of the talking. Manager might just be protecting themself.
