    i think this is more a problem with the digital art. AI hasnt sprung arms nor a wallet to go out and buy the crazy expensive art supplies yet required to put blobs on the canvas.

        And of course they’re exploited workers in “third world” countries where poverty may be life-threatening (not talking about the US this time), so nobody can realistically fight back.

      Give it a few years, and some very hateful AI bro will build a CNC machine that prints JPEGs using oil paint.

        You can write or draw stuff with a fountain pen with an AxiDraw, and that’s an off-the-shelf system. I imagine that it could paint as well.

        EDIT: Apparently the Inkscape plugin used to drive it was originally designed to drive a plotter that did watercolor painting.
