“I agree with the Nazi-defenders” is a hell of a stance to take.

It’s fascinating to me that that’s your takeaway from this.

I’d love to hear why you think that was my point.

          comic makes fun of Nazis

You state someone got under the artists skin, congratulating them

You congratulated Nazis for getting under the authors skin. It’s totally unguessable why someone would come to that conclusion.

If you can’t put two and two together, you may need to go back to school and study remedial “how to not be an oblivious Nazi supporter”.

Why are you assuming they were nazis that annoyed her?

Yeah, people are notorious about getting riled up by one group, and blaming some other, random group. Clearly, when someone is upset at a specific group, someone else must have actually upset them.

Anything to not make the clear and obvious connection, huh? Man, some people around here denser than osmium…

My guy, look at the comic setup. Is she screaming at or inflicting harm on the character in grey? Pizzacake herself is not suggesting the commenter is themselves a nazi. They’re just presented as an ignorant person tired of hearing about the same topic. Even the author is not equating the source of criticism with being an actual nazi.

My dude, try to give more than a modicum of thought to the context of the conversation, and a bit more on reading comprehension.

The thread started with the user stating that someone riled up pizza cake, my comment was pointing out the obvious was that it was the Nazis that got under her skin, which was likely the genesis of the comic itself. And when I was asked why I would assume it was the nazis that riled her up, I mockingly pointed out how likely it totally is that she’d lash out at someone other than who got under her skin.

Try to go back to my comments, and you’ll notice I said nothing about her stance on the grey character in the comic, only talking about the meta of the comic. Your comment is a not really relevant to the conversation at hand.

But the grey shirt character is obviously a stand-in for the commenter who was being referred to as getting under her skin. That’s the point. Of course nazis piss her off, as well they should. On this pizzacake, myself, everyone here in this thread, and even likely the hypothetical commenter all agree. I don’t understand what isn’t clicking here.

The genesis of this specific comic is not nazis, it’s the grey shirt man.

“Good on them” means they did something nice. In this case it reads like that was getting under Pizzacake’s skin.

Oh real Sherlock Holmes here deducted that Pizzacake is annoyed by some people. Did you manage to uncover her hidden stash of comics and decode the secret meanings she subtly inserted into every single one of them?
