I’m new to editing maps and I need to place a underwater rock next to a beach as a marine warning. I have the specific Lat/Lon coordinates of it but I don’t see how to add a node to that was specific coordinate.
Also I wanted to add a small walking access path through the woods, that can’t be seen on satellite imagery. But I have a kml track of it. Any way to import it as a path?
@Kapirotto both things are possible, if not outright easy, (for example with @josmeditor and @vespucci_editor) but both don’t jive well with “I’m new to editing maps”.
Getting at least some first hand experience by simply adding a couple of things manually and at least a basic understanding of OSMs data model will go a long way to helping your understanding of what you are trying to do.
