for TV, yes, not for streaming.

FCC does not have jurisdiction over streaming.
did you read the actual (heathermeeker.com) link you posted? here’s its very second paragraph:
This week, many people sent me the link to the Malus “Clean Room as a Service” announcement. I don’t think I’ve ever had so many people send me a single link. Now, ‘’‘this website is fake’‘’, but you have to wade into it a bit to figure that out. No real company would be foolish enough to represent anything as “legally distinct,” for example. The name “Malus” suggests a bad actor, and I guess it’s a pun on Manus, a popular AI agent. So, it seems site is a troll.

I do wonder whether this mechanism will affect Gazan users, though before it spreads to other software they probably don’t run Cemu on Linux

Apparently that’s only for blob storage (now "object storage), not https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_blob

That’s privilege escalation for you. 7.8 is pretty high.

The compressed binary blob is just a 160 B ELF when uncompressed. I don’t think you can do much with that.

I’m not sure how much of it is obfuscation and how much of it is golfing. Ze golfed it so ze could make the pretty valid “just 732 bytes python script” claim.
The compression could very well be just a way to write a binary in Python plaintext. ChatGPT claims it just attempts to sudo, run /bin/sh if that succeeds, and exit if that fails.

I fuzzily remember that it had happened
