I canceled my Hilton Honors account.
Fuck they were SO GOOD for pet friendly travel.
But wherever there was a Hilton Garden Inn there’s USUALLY a Hyatt Place too, and they are also pretty reliably pet friendly. Not owned by the same people either, I checked.
Until I discover what they’ve done wrong as I’m sure its something.

Truth. 3 years ago my “New Years Resolution” was to floss every day.
I knew I was going to have to make it obscenely easy to do in order for me to stick with it.
I do a suuuuuper quick run through every morning with a disposable pick BEFORE I brush, and my annual dental visits since have been night and day. I really don’t even have to try very hard and my gums don’t bleed anymore either!
Its about taking better care of your mouth - not perfect care.
We recently moved to a very bike friendly city in California, and it’s a night and day difference to where we had moved from in Texas. There are bike lanes, and bike racks EVERYWHERE.
There is also a heavily used e-bike/e-scooter service available as well. Its been a genuine game changer.
Separate lanes and bike racks all over the place means that the e-scooters aren’t ditched all over the sidewalk AND the separate bike lanes do not disrupt traffic so the drivers don’t hate them either. We’ve only used our vehicle for commuting to work since moving here. For everything else, we walk, bike, or scooter. Bought a little collapsible wagon for grocery shopping too!
I mean, I finally quit Hulu over this, and neither my husband or I had even watched Hulu in about a year at this point. I’d always kept the subscription going “just in case,”. I was the only one paying and neither of us has any qualms about letting it go.
I can’t believe that we’re the only ones in this bracket of users.
Oh good, we’re another step closer to 1984 becoming reality.
