I’m not a perfect vegan, I do my best, and I’m getting better. The expectation of perfection is self defeating. Ideally, though, I would have zero captive slaughtered animals in the world.

I’m not even fully vegan, I just eat animal fats in heavy moderation and balance them with lots of plants and exercise. I’m not perfect, I like eggs, but eggs aren’t fucking healthy in any context. And that’s only one of the several phenomenal reasons to eat way fewer animal products and more plant based & home-cooked.

I have a health degree, but ok mr. Expert. Have fun with ur heart disease. I’d just appreciate if you didn’t confidently lead others down ignorant health courses like “eggs are healthy” lol

I disagree. They are very likely the worst of the industries in seeing here. Not even in just one way either.

I don’t know that there’s any one thing that veganism is “all about”, per se. There are a ton of good reasons to eat fewer animal products, and everyone can cut out some level of extra saturated fat in their diets. The ability to cull and harvest a disgusting level of animal meat is the reason heart disease is the number one killer of modern humans

Not sure where our definitions of “healthy” foods differ, but I literally wouldn’t call eggs “healthy” whatsoever. There is no single animal product that can even be considered “nutrient dense” much less healthy. Even in world war II, the world had enough saturated fats and excessive animal products that most of the soldiers even in their thirties had already started developing intravascular plaques, and brother, we’re a hell of a long way from that these days…

The thing about coming up with a new invention that’s useful is, you don’t have to keep convincing everyone that it’s useful. There are things that it’s good for and they are already being used for that. What we are seeing now is an attempt to force it into every nook and cranny to justify the massive wealth bubble that they have created out of it to prop up the economy so they don’t lose money. Eventually they will have all their money in the right place and they will let the economy crash and let the common man take 100% of the blow.

This is crazy, I was in a parking lot yesterday and saw someone have their Tesla driver right up to them to pick them up in the parking lot with no driver inside. Kind of pissed me off I was so near in the same parking lot that was operating on its own, with my wife and nieces.
