2·4 months agoI don’t understand why people spend their whole day talking about something they don’t like. It’s so bizarre to me.
Of course spending a full day on it is a different story, but I think it’s important to discuss things you don’t like, from time to time, and with different people. It can lead to new thoughts and solutions, as an example.
Well, if you do it constructively.

Hmm. If your intention is not to mock someone - not trying to hurt their feelings, I don’t see a problem with that.
Humour is a challenging skill. There’s always someone who gets offended, even with the smallest hint that may or many not be there.
Material that invokes feelings don’t need a specific origin to make it effective.

1·6 months agoI just checked - I’ve been running version 2.10.24. I see the About gimp -window speaking of an update for 3.2.0 upon opening the software.
They look nice but their meanings aren’t that clear to me, compared to emojis.
Heh, the 😅 is the one emoji people have understood me the most wrong using. Then I go and copy-paste its description from the Internet.
“Better text editor” makes me chuckle how I took a picture I edited in GIMP to Paint always when I wanted to add some text on it 😂
Was somehow much less painful on Paint to do it
