It’s not a feature, it’s a bug.
I was thinking this 20+ years ago and it makes me sad that Windows is still treated like a product worth using. My work machine is my most hated device in terms of software. Such garbage.

Not bad, but it’s a little sterile. I miss the particle effects and stuff like that.

That’s the same video in the article. Played as in “used properly to play a tune”.

I do wonder how much of this is the seeming aversion to context that a subset of Americans seem to have. The meaning of words varies by context, that’s like, a normal thing in English. If I said in a meeting that I’d been “pissing about the office whilst waiting for John to be done in his other meeting”, that doesn’t mean I’d been urinating on the carpets!

I’m in the UK. I use it as my primary image editor on my work computers. Should we be avoiding using LaTeX too because in a different context it’s a kink thing?
It just seems such a weird thing to be prudish about in this day and age. English words are regularly contextual and in a business environment why would one go to the NSFW context as default?

Wouldn’t it be easier to recommend it and if they give you a look about the name you act like you’ve no idea what they’re talking about?

If they add the feature to set white point in the level tool I’m there. Last I checked they had some bullshit brush-off about how it wasn’t relevant because it’s designed for drawing or some bollocks.
Sorry that my sketches were on paper that wasn’t pure white, I guess?

I can do loads of stuff despite GIMP’s efforts to stop me.

Or, hear me out, a tool that draws a circle.

I don’t know about the person you’re replying to but I would like to hear it played.

People talk about the story sometimes and I’m baffled. What fuckin’ story?

I found the challenges to unlock gear utterly obnoxious, particularly as several key ones were very situational (notably the exotic takedowns one). Said gear wasn’t required, obviously, but it meant I spent my time trying to find setups that would work for challenges rather than just playing the game.
The backtracking for collectibles was also extremely tedious.
I played through Asylum twice and loved Arkham City but Origins was just sort of plodding.

I just finished Batman: Arkham Origins. I kept hoping it’d become fun and then the game was over.

I love Immich. I’ve pulled in all my photos going back to high school in the early 2000s and it’s so awesome having a timeline of them.

Podcast Republic has the same issue.

The old price was too high for me. The raised one made me roll my eyes.
Similarly I gave up trying to keep up with the ever evolving mail server requirements. I’d wake up to find my emails weren’t reaching people because Google and MS had strongarmed some change into place again.
These days I just use inbox.eu for my email.
It already had a limit - the number of hours in a month.
