Nah you literally don’t understand why the rules are the rules and you’re a dangerous and shitty mechanic.

People who fix machines for a living make sure they neutralize energy sources wherever possible just because. There’s no actual reason for turning off equipment before you work on it. You’ll never drop a wrench or touch something hot. Just yolo that shit, what could go wrong?
At the same time, just like religion, some zealot-on-zealot violence is to be expected and there isn’t much anyone can do about it.
One day when I was a middle school classroom teacher the girls started telling stories about getting catcalled. The youngest one could remember was being 8 and getting hollered at by construction workers while riding her bike to school.
That’s great you can do that, but it’s definitely not something anyone here in my northern state would expect to be able to do. The situation you just described would be very difficult and dangerous.
You really just rode a fake bike for a while than drove a car to work.
In the middle of December LOL yes, do you put skis on your bike??
I guess I blocked that community.
Dissenting to what? I don’t get what your reply has to do with the thread.
That’s a very, very long way from “Most North Americans are shocked that a human can learn more than one language” which is what you said.
Core French starts in Grade 4 for Canadians. Americans typically need 2 years of foreign language to graduate high school and it’s required to get your undergraduate degree. Mexicans start learning English in Grade 1. Where are you talking about?
What I’m picking on is the idea of going into the international grocery store and buying some random thing. I’ve cooked all over the world with a variety of ingredients, many of the dried, fermented, salted…randomness is fine if you’re cooking for Ted Allen otherwise at least look it up first.
Pizza means pie.
You dont know me.
That’s why the way you present yourself is so important, that’s all people see.
Especially in the US where almost noone leaves a good gap.
If you leave two seconds of following distance, someone will cut it in half. Some asshole in a lifted pickup will pass you on the right and flip you off, no doubt screaming something about left lane campers. I can’t literally drive through the car in front of me. I want to go fast too but there’s a left lane camper there. 🤷
In a three lane situation in America, generally the outside lane is for trucks and slower traffic, the middle lane is for cruising, and the inside lane is the passing lane you describe. It is unreasonable to expect a car driving the speed limit in the middle lane to move into the truck lane because someone doesn’t want to use the passing lane to pass slower traffic, which is its purpose. In the picture, moving to the right wouldn’t leave a lot of distance for the car that the car in the middle lane just drove past even if that were the right thing to do.
And none of that empowers anyone to create an unsafe situation for other drivers on the road.
shady shops selling tacky trash
You’re referring to your neighbors and community members trying to make a living? It’s not their fault either.
Not the tourists’ fault, and hating on them demonstrates a lack of civic pride and not much else. I welcome tourists who come to my city for its niche history and the historic mall and the foofy shops who wouldn’t be in business without them.
I know LOADS of tradies and I don’t know a single one who would swap out a car battery live.
Nope, you’re a dangerous person.
