I mean, they were quite inquisitive

Probably MtG: Arena
I have a pod I usually play the physical card game with, but sometimes when we can’t get together that week I’ll boot up the online version and play some casual games
I’ve spent ~100 hours in it and I’ve decided I really don’t like it, and all for a single reason: the matchmaking
It is abysmal. I started up the game, made a shitty deck with the free stuff they give you, and go on a 15 game win streak. Over the course of my playtime I’ll be upgrading my deck, when suddenly out if nowhere I’m facing the sweatiest assholes with the most juiced decks that will waste your time if it means a 1% increase in win rate
After a week of this I realise that even the casual format has a deck ranking system - the more powerful cards in it, the harder the opponents you’ll face
Now, I’m all for this, if your deck was given a visual rank so you’d know the opponents you’d face before you spent resources to make it, but being faced with the problem of being unable to upgrade your deck, else you might be put in the same pool as those who’d played the game all their lives, is somewhat demotivating
Of course, going on 15 game win streaks where the opponent barely does anything isn’t fun either

I’ve been forced to use windows for some propriety software during uni. I got a laptop from IT with higher specs than my old one and:
So yeah I’m not using Windows 11 ever again

The bigger problem here is that the paper is stating an (as of currently) unsupported hypothesis as a definitive fact
“…he means saiyan”
Bruh wtf this is dark af
Don’t dead open inside

I brought this up in my friend group, and, to quote one of them, the general consensus is “is it weird that I actually don’t care”

You still have to tell UE to make them though
New-born birds tend to be kind of ugly TBH

…no they came from genAI?

But fr tho I agree. Sure, there are sole knobheads who clearly haven’t read the article, but the disparity between what you see here and the r-place is wonderful

Kind of defeats the purpose of a placeholder…

I hate when people try to shift the goalposts
These guys didn’t disclose the usage of AI when initially sold as well as for the award, and there’s nothing more to it than that
There’s still not even a disclaimer on the steam store page or anything
