Thanks, thats really interesting.

Isn’t the dystopian social credit system in China just an exaggerated propaganda? I thought its a similar system to the US credit scores.
Also the naming of these apps are incredible confusing. Im using linux full time for over a year now (Mint, Bazzite) and still cant remember the names of half the damn utility apps. Its a good thing most distros show you the most likely thing if you start typing in some slightly relevant text to the search.
My idiot brain hardwired by years of windows use: -I need to download an app… Something, something app store
Linux: -You mean Bazaar?
-Aw yisss, but also want to make a screenshot, something to do with snipping tool?
-Spectacle maybe?
-Fuck yeah!
Also when you click apply and within seconds get a rejection email and this is the first sentence:
“Thank you for applying, after careful consideration we decided not to move forward…”

Decide for yourself, it received a huge amount of hate and most people just jumped on the train for the sake of hating it. While I agree the last season was rushed, I quite enjoyed some aspects of it. I did not read any of the books and will not read them ever probably.

What if I dont have a garbage truck?
Eggs are probably one of the few grocery store items, where opening the packaging and checking them before purchase is a must do.
Its a one man band of snacks
Its a boring and shit board game, but shows perfectly how capitalism works.

Please explain to a complete doofus how can someone enforce this?
Cant they just download any linux distro from millions of different places and install them on any machine, even offline?
Its that Edward Norton?

Linus (S) went extra annoying for 2/3 of the vid. He managed to be sort of professional and asked some decent questions, but for the majority of the time he was putting on a performance for the LTT crowd.
Switched to Mint over a year ago from win 10 on my desktop and my wives laptop, we both love it. It was fresh, user friendly and familiar in the same time. To be fair we are pretty much average users without any specialized needs, other than gaming.
Later this year I built a new gaming pc 100% with Linux in mind. I am running Bazzite on it and it works absolutely amazing. Bazzite is currently my favourite distro. Im not a distro hopper or a big tinkerer myself, don’t have time for experimenting, so not planning to switch. It just works perfectly.

CoD is the FPS equivalent of FIFA. If you played one since MW1 than you played all of them pretty much.

Are there people who are mad at other people for using the terminal? Is this really a thing that exists?

For the past 10 years I never bought a phone for more than 300 euros.
I usually get a new phone every 3 years to have the latest tech and donate or recycle the old one.
For the last year I had an iPhone 13 pro (usually goes around 1100 euro) as a work phone and my personal Redmi Note 11 Pro I bought for 270 euros and not once I told myself: Man, this iphone is at least 3 times better than my Xiaomi. It’s clearly a premium product but a middle category budget phone can match most features and even more. I still have a headphone jack, bigger 120 Hz screen, IR blaster and an amazing fingerprint sensor.
Me at the end of the day, when I finally turn off my work laptop and on my Linux desktop no application has copilot integration.
