When I was a kid and we got back after a week vacation the house definitely smelled weird. As an adult visiting my parents when they’re home it doesn’t have that smell. I actually like both Bazaar and discover. I enjoy using them to just browse for interesting apps. For linux to ever become adoptable for more people, good GUIs are absolute must haves. If you don’t like them that is of course fine, but it serves the greater good to have the option of using them.

I actually visited Herculaneum a couple of years ago. Pretty cool sight. You can see the charred wooden beams of this villa sticking out of the dirt cliff. When no one was looking I picked small a charred wooden bit off the ground. Probably shouldn’t have done that, but there were lots of these small pieces just lying there on the ground, and I couldn’t help myself.
