It doesn’t say the TV is only broadcast. Lots of people have smart TVs and use streaming services that also force ads upon you.
Depends. On some Smart TVs, if you try to mute advertisements on certain streaming platforms, it won’t let you. It will only go to half volume.
Yes, lets blame GenXers, who despite being in their late 40s and 50s, have almost ZERO power because the boomers wont fucking retire already. We’ve been fighting with boomers over climate change (and everything else) since it was called “global warming” back in the 90s. Don’t put this shit on us when the majority of us don’t want this.
You’re…you’re kidding, right?

“The right can’t meme”

The way I interpret it, it’s like when Homophobes call each other f***ts. Homphobes hate being called gay slurs. So essentially the same people don’t like being called gay slurs or Liberal.

I’m sure that is often the case. But with this series, Its this specific model. A friend of mine has the Asus M32 from the previous year and he was able to get mint installed without any issues. Just bad luck with the model I bought. It’s always given me headaches so not being able to switch to linux tracks

Unless you have an Asus m32cd_a_f_k20cd_k31cd motherboard. I’ve tried EVERY bloody configuration in the bios possible and several different distros, and they all crash / freeze during installation. Fuck you Asus 🤬

Even if they get back two thirds of the people who quit while the other third have discovered “other” ways to get their Disney content, that’s still a third of a loss of revenue. A small dent is better than no dent. And whether the website crashed because of all the people quitting or they intentionally crashed it to prevent people from quitting, that means its a significant amount of people, and a third of that is still significant to them.
Hey thanks for the reply. I wasn’t aware of that community. Thanks very much!
Man, I so WISH I could say no to windows. I would install Mint today if I could. It just won’t install. It begins to install and then just hangs for hours and never installs. I’ve tried other distros and they all fail, one way or another. I’m pretty sure (but not positive) it has something to do with my bios settings but no matter what I try, I have no luck.
People gotta use their humble-brags any way they can.
