82·2 months agoThe funny thing to me is that Lemmy users seem to be so staunchly against LLMs, that they are unable to even acknowledge the small things it truly is good for as a tool. It’s like the opposite of hackernews on here.

I switched to cachyOS and the amount of bugs I found in less than 2 hours of use was staggering. I reported some of the issues on their discord because they’re github asked way too much info for me to be arsed. One user reacted with “works on my machine” and I just ignored the problems for now. I think an LLM written patch is the only thing that would bring me to contribute to the fragmented mess.
