If we have things like Heroic on Linux, and if they are just bringing the Epic Game Store only and not the anti cheat, then who cares. Nothing has really changed then, as we were always able to play all non-online games from our Epic libraries anyways.
Plus you can bet your ass that the new and official EGS app will have SO MANY issues when that is released. It was a mess (still kinda is) even on Windows. So many bugs. I wouldn’t be surprised if many Linux users will just continue using the alternatives for the smaller resources it takes up.
Reminds me of “thanks for the gold kind stranger!” Ughh.
But at the same time I don’t get pissed or would hate them for it necessarily, I’d just think it’s a little cringe and move on.
Too hot tho

They also got into a ton of car accidents in order to make that “30 minutes or less” promise. I can understand why that didn’t last for very long.
It was around 50-60° for all of last winter for me. I live somewhere that people generally consider a cold place, too. I don’t want winter to be gone. I felt very sad that I couldn’t enjoy lots of the things that make winter so nice in the first place :(
Yeah I am the same exact way and have also been feeling very weird & sick lately (it was so bad I thought I had an actual flu or virus) but it’s definitely because I am getting too hot. I lose my appetite. I can’t think as straight. I get irritated. I start feeling lethargic but restless, and I feel lightheaded and wobbly. I only began to feel hungry and felt normal again when it’s nighttime and cooler out. That’s what clued me in to the fact that the heat was causing those issues the whole time.
This gets me worried/panicked especially with climate change making it even more unbearable. I don’t want to continue feeling miserable for half the year, every single year, for the remainder of my life…
92° in your house? I hope you’re okay and can find a way to cool it down, that sounds dangerous :( I should be grateful that my house only gets to 80° if it’s almost 100° outside. I feel guilty running my air conditioning, but I just want to feel comfortable and be able to do stuff.

Reading those words filled me existential dread.
Depends on the phone/screen. For example, foldable displays are seen as a tech advancement, but they scratch incredibly easy like plastic and require screen protectors. Traditional screens? Not nearly as much.

I was more so just reflecting on how much time has passed since 2012 when AdviceAnimals memes like this were still relevant and popular. Unfortunately, much more time than “5 years” has passed since those days, we are all old now and the time is gone :(
