Yeah, that last part is especially sad and what makes me a bit angry as well. I like IT for it’s open nature, like FOSS and knowledge sharing. DHH pretends to be the embodiment of that sentiment, but than he turns around a grabs all the immiral money he can get. It has some major “Google - dont be evil” vibes.

This is a fair point, but the good thing about Omarchy is that it has been a great and easy gateway into Linux for me and peoole like me. Sure there’s Ubuntu and Mint, but those just feel like Windows with extra steps. Omarchy, and especially Hyprland and the keyboard oriented approach, have opened my eyes for what cool stuff can be done. I’m really sad for the nazi stuff. I’m actually moarning a bit, because I liked Omarchy. But I do have a sense for what I want to and can do with my OS now. I’m still a bit nervous for setting up drivers and such, but I’ll give it a try
