Do we think when the hammer was invented people only used it correctly? If 99 people out of 100 used it incorrectly would that make it a bad tool? I don’t think so. How people use it in general doesn’t have anything to do with the usefulness of the tool when used correctly.

It doesn’t benefit everyone if it pushes the quality down

Look I know some people will chime in and say things were better when programmers had to do their own memory management but I can’t say I agree. Good tools don’t push quality down. People using tools incorrectly certainly does and it’s a guarantee some people will use new tools incorrectly.

Having a tool that can chew through a lot of code and give you suggestions which can be verified is indisputably valuable. Is it worth all the datacenters? Hell no. But open source people aren’t driving that.

My experience has been indie games are pretty well vetted if they are able to sell for $20.

Plenty of $3-5 games that are a bit of a gamble though. Even if it ends up being kind of lame I figure it’s funding for the developer to make another attempt.

Oh no I spent $3 on a game that could use some more polish.

Honestly even if the game ends up being kinda lame I won’t ask for a refund.

I don’t really hear people say that about tacomas or equally sized trucks. Moreso the bigger ones and usually they don’t have a scratch on them.

This. I don’t need a shitty touchscreen that lags over the simplest tasks. I have a high quality one I carry with me.

I first heard about these cars a few months ago and it made me realize I’d be fine just leaving a bluetooth speaker in the car. Doesn’t need to be a part of the vehicle. Just need power.

Part of the trick is finding an exercise that’s actually enjoyable to do so that you don’t care how hard you’re working or how much time has passed.
