this is a legit question, but why can’t you run that program through wine? does it need a windows account validation step or something or does wine simply not work for that program?

Nice version of number 2) offer your services to protect them from raiders and get paid in food
It’s such a stupid decision! They can’t even benefit from the better compression on all of the other images shared around because of this dumb decision
Nice!! I have been needing to upload some documents to websites with ridiculously small size limitations, so that’s really useful! Thanks!
Why did you upload it as a webp? Nothing against ya, but webp can burn in hell in for it’s sins (inconveniencing me when I forward memes to telegram and they come out as stickers) lol
Legit tho, how did you make it a webp? I never tried it, is it an export option on gimp?

But look at them over regulate and red-tape anything that could possibly maybe harm their profits by actually innovating and improving quality… Working in biotech and knowing we could fix a lot of the issues with world hunger and vaccines by using tech we already know is safe but is barred from use because established companies would not profit as much is infuriating…

This is such a dumb reference, but I cannot believe MumboJumbo’s current "mini"game project kind of perfectly predicted this… Bots trading to bots who are trading to bots all to boost the economy while the people are either starving to death within the system they robbed from us or living in the fringes and scrapping by

Because the EU is also trying to get it’s own age verification AND they can and have been influenced by policies from the USA as well as manipulated by the same corporations and billionaires that are getting these laws passed not only in USA states but also in other countries as well. This threat was already beyond the borders of the USA and everyone needs to take it’s threat very seriously

What if there’s something else blasting lots of signal around the same frequency of Bluetooth (2.5mHz?) trying to pair with another device? I don’t know why else your Bluetooth buds would be skipping at such a precise interval, as I think that they would have some variation in the amount buffered depending on how much data per second is being transmitted

That’s incredibly odd. Do you know where the Bluetooth antenna of your PC is? Maybe it’s getting some signal blocking from a metal component that is between the antenna and the amp? That’s the only other idea I have, because I seen to recall something about Bluetooth having this tendency to “accumulate” errors until it just skips to try and catch up after it got too many bad signals, but I can’t guarantee this is just some slop my brain came up on it’s own trying to figure out your issue

I’ve had this issue with my old Bluetooth buds because their batteries were dying. My new buds don’t have any issues and it’s on the same 2010 laptop running mint with the same Bluetooth adapter, maybe that’s what’s happening to you?
Be the change you want to see in the world

Which one of the 3 to 5 settings menus are they asking me to change this setting again? All I want is for my desktop to recognize the TV as speakers through the HDMI cable ffs!!! (Actual thing I had to deal with windows a few weeks ago that ended up with us not having actual karaoke for an end of the year lab party ;-;)

I see, that’s very good to know!! Thank you!!

Samsung is in my shitlist for their horrible shady business with their smartphones, but even tho I want to never buy anything Samsung again I still think their m.2 SSDs are really good, did something happen with that division that showed it’s also shitty? I want to know and hate even more on Samsung
Story why I hate Samsung (was too long to put in the middle): bought a s21 fe thinking I’m getting a snapdragon processor, they hid never mentioned anywhere in the page that this specific model has their piece of shit exynos processor that literally struggles to run anything, overheats if it isn’t on battery saving mode and goes through the battery like it’s on sale

Good news! Brazil developed a single dose vaccine against dengue!! I don’t know when they’re going to start vaccinating, but the vaccine has been approved, it’s already tested and everything!

Wouldn’t it be easier to clone your partition to another SSD but have it already be the full SSD size? I remember looking into something like that and cloning looked easier, but I was looking through the windows side, Linux probably has various ways to do it

They don’t have to redesign an entire car, just the internal parts of a door that are related to a handle, that in the past they made work mechanically btw, so no, 2 years is more than enough to redesign and start implementing it
The thing is, sometimes you need Microsoft not of your own volition but because of bureaucracy. When I was signing a contract recently, the government required me to fill in a office word document and it would not work at all on libre, I had to scramble around the house, went through 3 different computers trying to get any of them to have office working after I just recently uninstalled it from all of them to use libre only, but in the end I had to use a university computer to fill in the doc.
Yep! I’ll admit, I haven’t read the news, but by what people keep talking about in comments, it seems that ublock said that the reason was how annoying it was to keep fighting against facebook, but if they had just said “yeah we’re dropping facebook’s priority, not enough ublock users go there for it to be useful to monitor their changes as frequently” it wouldn’t become that big of a sign for other companies to do the same thing that facebook is doing (also throws shade at how dead facebook is) but at the end of the day this has always been a fight of attrition and what fuels ublock is spite, and for people to have any of it they’d need to at least care about the product buried under the ads
