4·11 months agoIf I wanted to talk to NPCs at length I’d just type into a fucking chat bot. I play games to experience the developers story and vision, not endlessly prompt an npc.
I think your experience will be a common one for players.

2·1 year agoBut that’s one way it used to be, making connections that requires effort to engage with (calling, emailing, etc). If you want to give up the convenience of any particular online social network you have to do the work to foster those relationships differently.
Give your email out to people. Ask for theirs. Send the emails. Call them if they give you their number.

13·1 year agoWordpress makes up like 40% of the Internet depending on the source of the claim. I’m pretty sure it’s used for more than just blogs.
Contrary to others I liked this game quite a bit. The life skills were fun, if sometimes tedious, and the sound design of gathering materials out in the world was intoxicating.
I spent hours mining rocks and cutting down trees. I still hear the sounds of it sometimes.
Didn’t enjoy the combat that much but others seemed to have at the time. The game didn’t have much to keep it relevant long term but I’ll miss that flash in the pan that hooked me for a month or two way back when.
