Most EVs and Hybrids don’t have a direct hydraulic connection between the brake pedal and the wheel cylinders when everything is healthy.

There is an accumulator that gets pressurized when you press the brake pedal and then it blends between dynamic and hydraulic brakes as needed.

First time I’m hearing about this. Looks very neat. I really only have Google Maps for the timeline so I will have to selfhost this and try this out soon.

Apple did this exact thing on iPhone and 3rd party stores so I would be surprised if this wasn’t already baked into the firmware on the Switch.

Almost all Bolts should have newish batteries or a stupid long warranty on the battery.

Degradation is not really a thing on thermally managed batteries, IE only as issue on the Nissan Leaf and the eGolf to lesser extend.

Chevy Bolt has a 60kWh and will go over 200km in the winter and closer to 400km in the summer.

I’m not sure which specific issue you are referring too, but personally I had HW transcoding break with the new version and also direct play seem to also break with the newest Android TV version. Nothing with HDR would play at all, despite using an Nvidia Shield.

I rolled back both since I couldn’t find anyone with similar issues.
