Train is canceled today. Here’s a voucher for a Nazi-owned taxi company that’ll get you halfway home.
“And that’s why I won’t be getting dental work here anymore!”
“I shall never again get my car serviced here, for you refuse to upgrade messaging protocols!”
Yes it absolutely is! I just use Signal and SMS, and the Signal users seem to be dwindling.
It used to be an SMS client too, to help get people on board. Now they expect you to either memorize which people use which protocols, or just use SMS.
Any later would be after he reached #867, and any sooner would’ve been weird.

20th century engineers: The worst thing I can possibly imagine is this cable getting disconnected. I would rather the entire thing get ripped apart or pulled off the shelf. Two screws, so it stays tight during combat.
Original Amazon was such shit that I don’t understand how it caught on. Who just buys a book without reading any of it at all first? How do you know if it’s any good? It’s like people who save themselves for marriage.

What do you think they’d do if they thought immortality awaits in a virtual world?
OK now post pics of the women at this age
Oh it’s still there. But the price has gone up significantly. Free market economics teaches us that there’s no such thing as a shortage.
The cats frequently leave them alive
My insurance has a search feature that literally does not work. Therapists keep putting “official office branches” in places where they do not work therapy, but want to show up on searches. Just drive bro.

I suppose, sure. But I’m not convinced that goal is possible to achieve; the biological organisms have billions of years of head start. Elephants aren’t wasting their huge brains either.
I designed dies for forges. Mechanically it’s actually kinda similar to sheet metal, but the EH&S is worse and the whole forging industry is practically a monopoly now.
We’re hiring btw, if anybody is in Los Angeles pm me.
It’s kinda bittersweet to be middle aged and finally have a job I actually like. I program robots to bend metal all day, like Bender from Futurama. It’s super cool and I have zero dread on Sundays for once.
But when I talk to my coworkers, I’m reminded of how rare and lucky that really is. For everyone else the week is still grueling and maddening. The people with “bullshit jobs” aren’t having any fun at all.
So when we start talking about the weekend as an escape, I try to keep it real and see if there’s any way I can make their life more pleasant. Maybe they need a good word for a promotion, or backup asking for a raise, or a lie when they need to leave early, or a glowing job reference.
Imagine how much more our society would accomplish if there were no bullshit jobs and everyone either programmed the robots, or made pottery/paintings/whatever the neurotypicals enjoy.
Shit I talk about unions all the time.

They all got laid off so one guy can not watch the work happen.
