6·5 months agoAssuming this is it: https://github.com/benyetra/Cliparr
Seems like it requires Plex, rather than just reading your media files by themselves.
Pretty sure things die when you kill them
Probably because ISPs like to fob you off with suggestions of poor wifi rather than address the actual internet issue you contact them about.

Linux@lemmy.ml•A cool distro I find on youtube that combines the old compiz workflow with MacOS (flat) design lanuage
5·6 months agoNebiOS is an Ubuntu-based desktop Linux distribution with a custom Wayland compositor called NebiDE (based on Wayfire). It features various user interface enhancements, an initial setup module called OOBE, the NebiOS App Runtime (napp-runtime) portable application format with bubblewrap containerization, improved gaming performance with Steam Proton integration, a kernel switcher for easy multi-kernel installation, and the Wine compatibility layer for running some Windows applications. NebiOS is intended as a general-purpose operating system for daily computing tasks, including creative work and gaming.

For those, like me, who have no idea what this is:
A modern-looking, lightning-fast, privacy-respecting, secure meta search engine (pronounced as websurface or web-surface /wɛbˈsɜːrfəs/.) written in Rust. It provides a quick and secure search experience while completely respecting user privacy.

5·8 months agoMaybe not quite what you need, but I use Syncopoli to push and pull files between my phone and server.
There’s an episode of darknet diaries where this kid ‘hacks’ into his old school network and wipes everyone’s (including a load of parent’s) phones because they had exchange on their phones for school email.

Jellyfin: The Free Software Media System@lemmy.ml•Where does JF get its placeholder image when it can't find a banner for a band?English
5·9 months agoNot that this helps you, but I think it’s an image of T-Square. So probably Jellyfin treating your T folder as one whole artist.

Jellyfin: The Free Software Media System@lemmy.ml•Where does JF get its placeholder image when it can't find a banner for a band?English
3·9 months agoDefinitely your folder structure causing issues, if you go to the artist page within jellyfin, you can change the images via the edit images option. Failing that you can insert your on image into the relevant folder, iirc the backdrop images are named fanart.jpg.
Malaga airport seemed have decent spaces for feeding when I last went through
Took me a while to realise they weren’t selling cookies, but instead meant internet cookies.
I moved to arch because of rolling releases, ubuntu switching to unity fucked my laptop over. Yes the initial install is a bit more work, but the wiki is great and I feel like I have a better understanding of linux after going through the process. Also really not a fan of apt.
More like the child is microsoft and the firefighters are linux users

Was worried where that was going for a second
