51·4 months agoThere was a recent Verstasium video about it.
There’s also Be Smart with Joe Hanson as well.
I was just introduced to NetBox and it’s really intriguing. It does look complicated but once it is setup it seems to work very well at integrating data from a spreadsheet into it and then automatically documenting changes and such. It’s open source as well.
Oh ok, thanks for the explanation. I did not associate the other random people as being telepathic and in the club.
I would have had all the telepathic people doing something like, have their hand on their chins as if they were thinking. That would be a visual trigger that allows me to link all of the characters together.
Obviously some people got it without an explanation, so perhaps it’s just me who has an issue understanding this. 🙂

143·11 months agoI’m the exact opposite, every Linux install has something fucked, but I’ve never experienced any of these major Windows issues.
Of course I never update immediately, an old habit. And I do experience plenty of issues with Windows like everyone else does, I’ve just been lucky with the major issues.

9·1 year agoExactly this. It’s the hype cycle all over again. Everyone gets excited about the new thing, the new thing is easy to implement but hard to utilize effectively, everyone starts shoehorning the new thing into their thing, they throw shit-tons of money at it and shit-tons more to market it as the greatest thing ever, and then everyone starts to see the truth. The new thing is okay and can be useful but it has been way overblown, and it all starts to crumble down to where it should be and then we build it up slowly from there.

I’ve heard Amazon music will only shuffle through blocks of 500 songs at a time. So for my 700 song playlist, if I start with the first song on the list and hit Random, it will only shuffle the first 500 songs. But if I choose a song above number 200, it will be able to shuffle through all 700 songs supposedly.
I haven’t tried this out myself, but it would explain why I never hear the newest songs on my playlist when I shuffle.
