What are you talking about, don’t you see all that white (or black in dark mode) space surrounding the rectangle?

I call fake, many images have shown the world is not a perfect circle but more of a rectangle, example:

Just curious, what kind of furniture is this? It looks like a table with a bench or a picnic table with the seat attached but if it were it wouldn’t make sense since the middle plank is lower than the other two. Also none of the surfaces seem wide enough to function as a table.
What a noob, way better to wait till you’ve died and none of it matters anymore.
I highly prefer replacable batteries though, as i have chucked too much stuff just because its internal battery died.
I had a wireless keyboard where the internal battery was total crap, had to keep it plugged in because it would drain within an hour. Got one with replace batteries, plenty of those available. Might be safer bet for you as well.
No worries, a few years of surveillance state and everybody becomes a crackhead one way or the other!
I tried to upcycle my old terracotta into bondage gear, but didn’t really work out that well tbh

16·6 months agoI think you’re in denial. If they had changed the name of Homeland Security into the dep of National Security for example, you probably wouldn’t say that media outlets is parroting the us government.
he official game and website
Rather have them have an api, so many official websites and apps stop being maintained when the game stops making money
“Evil” is a pretty OP strategy if you have the stomach for it
I think they do have the stomach for it. And also smart enough to get away with conning people, to know how to not get in trouble with lawmakers, do that fine print just right etc. They act as if they are helping people by offering easy credit while they know they’re not earning money from people who can easily pay them back. They profit off the least capable to keep their finances in order, living of the weak and vulnerable like parasites do.
People are already up to their neck in debt, putting Klarna to the back of the queue in case there’s a default
People in debt (before there is professional help) end up paying the important things first (such as rent) and then choose to pay off the debt that is most within their reach. Klarna is much more likely to be a low amount compared to their creditors.
It might be true their loans are more likely to be payed back while also they might have less to loose in case of a personal bankruptcy.
But that aside, i have no clue on whether Klarna is making a smart move. But i assume they are because companies that are both evil and stupid don’t tend to come far.
which charged exorbitant interest rates.
Same goes for Klarna if you miss payments.

1·7 months agoWell yes, but it is relevant unless you believe policy makers will only work towards a world that is how it should be. That’s why i started with mentioning i don’t disagree with you. We surely can blame them for the results of their choices, but i don’t think we can play the ‘omg i’m totally surprised’-card is what i’m saying.

Not disagreeing, but if Trump hadn’t won a second term there really wouldn’t be a dire reason to avoid the US. Sure they would be better of choosing a local or at least European provider, but most politicians (naively) didn’t see the current hostility coming.

2·7 months agoNot necessarily, TikTok now delete accounts they believe to belong to children under 13. They could have chosen to do age authentication the British way but i suppose they had a big reason not to. Microsoft might understand they could lose business if they force users to prove they’re not children. It’s not like everybody would trust MS with such data.

1·7 months agoHumanity is a corrupting force.
There is a reason we put locks on our doors and have insurance in case someone does break in. Sure this is an issue that needs to be addressed but it is one much smaller than getting the people in power to put things in motion. Once that happens (and we’re getting there) there will be funding and a public awareness campaign for sure, especially once the first politician gets hacked because they were using non-proprietary software because he wanted to kick Big Tech out…
