If you cared enough to actually find out what happened instead of mindlessly parroting the Twitter mob, you would know that not a single word Hank said was written by AI.

100% agree. People are shitting on Hank because they have literally nothing going on. They’ve made a hobby out of being outraged, and as a result have nothing more meaningful to contribute.
If they took the time to look into it, they’d realize the line they’re using to claim that AI writes his scripts was actually something he himself simply said. Not only did he not outsource his writing to AI, he’s honest enough that when people incorrectly accused him of this he disclosed that he does at times use it to aid his research. Not that anyone blathering about it values honesty enough to care.
One pellet, one trip! I must be out of my mind!
It’s because they refuse to collect IDs for UKIP. Which, good for them for not folding.

I would love to see more of these posted here!
This makes me wonder what our planet would smell like if we didn’t spend all our time here.

That’s not what “thinking model” means. It’s not a statement about cognition, it means it takes steps in which it explains itself to itself to check if it’s missing something.

They can use it to do a lot of things. AI is far from perfect and makes all sorts of weird mistakes, but so do people. Arguably there’s substantially more value in training inexperienced humans to get better in their fields than in settling for AI as a cheap alternative that starts with a maybe slightly higher or similar but cheaper baseline, but that doesn’t eliminate all value they create. You can make arguments about the long term benefits socially or for individual organizations that leverage AI, but spend a couple hours playing with Claude and it becomes extremely evident that they’re not anything resembling useless.
Even if we completely throw chat bots out the window, there are some instances of general utility for thinking models. This comic is making a moral argument that’s more compelling, but arguing that they’re actually totally useless doesn’t really reflect reality
Here, I fixed it. The person in the back row has their right blinker on so they can get into the left-turn only lane.

I really do like seeing so many older comics showing up on Lemmy a few at a time.
The ti is silent.
This is an awesome idea for a comic. Is there more? Please let there be more.
I feel like because of their size, weight distribution may be a less pressing (haha) concern.
But that would waste the opportunity to make conservatives feel like the world doesn’t revolve around them.
This reaction is not neutral. You’re missing the people in between those repulsed by the idea of silly animal cartoons (you) and those who actively enjoy silly animal cartoons. Which is everybody else, who just see a cartoon and do not care.
Legitimate completely non-sarcastic question because I’m actually curious. How do you feel about trans rights and how do you feel about Trump?
Conservatives. They hate everything.
If people do things differently, one of them must be bad!!!
