I feel your pain. I been learning German and got a bunch of DVDs and Blurayd digitalised. 99% of the time subs do not say exactly as it was dubbed. It counts as paraphrasing but different enough to begin to hate it.
The most fucking fun part is when you watch a local language movie (e.g. Das Boot) and subs also do not match. How? Baffles me.
I like comics. I like 4 panel comics on social media. I am not US citizen. I am not willing to see only policital comics. I don’t want to see extrapolated political comics. I come in the comics sub to get away from politics.
Unfortunately, all pizzacake does is political comics. Or at the very least most popular ones that got pushed up the feed. Hence I don’t enjoy her content.
There is a reason why many left non-political subs like r/pics, r/crazyfuckingvideos, r/publicfreakout or r/adviceanimals. These subs not supposed to be politically locked echo chambers. But now they are.
If I want to keep up with politics, I’ll go to politics communities, subs and news outlets. Blasting US politics out of every corner gets annoying quite fast.
The difference is incredible! I am not and never was a caffeine addict. I just drink from time to time and I enjoy the taste. But that “from time to time” is like once in 3 months. Or at least when I need energy and my sleep was short that night.
The difference is insane! It keeps me glued and moving the whole day. I come off work and I do things non stop. I can’t shut up. It doesn’t let me fall asleep quicker than usual (10-15min). It feels that it is a some sort of an enhancement drug.
I hope I will never require it most of the days so I won’t build tolerance. And I do not want to get addicted to energy drinks. If coffee is a mild enhancement drug, energy drink is a straight up poison mixed with cocaine.
Haven’t they said they’re going to cater to complaining user base? That’s like the opposite of that 😬

Agree about China overtaking market. Electric BYD is a huge ass SUV and costs 24k here. The next best option is a Dacia Bigster which is not exactly as good. Even so, dacias are populating my region due to low cost

That’s cause you probably are listening to a 5.1 or 7.1 audio on your 2.0 speakers. You got no center channel and that’s where the dialog happens.
This is the issue with TVs most of the time. You can either downmix 5.1 to 2.0 somehow, be lucky and have a setting on your TV that can downmix for you, or buy 5.1 sound system.
