The latest build of SteamOS actually is working on this exact problem, btw. So yeah, we will.

Yeah, give me a raw TeX file, or at least a plain Markdown document. Maybe reStructuredText, if they’re feeling Pythonic.

Uma Musume (馬娘, literally “Horse Girls”) is a gacha style game by CYGAMES that has several anime. The idea is to take actual race horses, regardless of gender, and make them moe anime waifus that run huma-style footraces. One very popular one that I know, is Golshi, or the horse Gold Ship. From what I can gather, though, the mascot is supposed to be Special Week. (I only tangentially interact with pure gacha games because of my crippling fear of being addicted)
Anyway, plenty of good memes from the fans, and decent artwork in the usual places for manga-adjacent things, whatever that means for you.

So then, beyond safety standards, what’s stopping someone from developing an open source hardware vehicle at this point?

I used to miss Mitch. I mean, I do now, but I used to, as well.
I’d like to believe they mean on the next GPU you get, but not everyone can just upgrade their card. But if you can, dump Nvidia in the daily driver asap, as long as it’s reasonable to do so.
Also, side tangent, but remember when the whole computer cost a grand? I miss those days.
This article goes over the git diff when it happened. This blog post from Mozilla themselves is them not removing the ML tools, but giving users a “kill switch” option for the tools.

Your node_modules directory can get so bloated that the community came up with different package managers just for deduplication! pnpm, for example, makes one global-adjacent cache, and then just symlinks the dependencies as needed. This is because the regular npm doesn’t, because what if the package changed between the 20ms since I downloaded it for nuxt? (Sorry Nuxt users, had to pick a name)
They’re asking “technically or actually in practice?”.
The subtle difference is that your $SHELL is responsible for opening (and, iirc, parsing?) the file when you use \<, versus the $EDITOR being the responsible entity.
I just bought a Dell Optiplex 990 for 50 bucks on eBay. I lucked out in that the listing came with 8 GB of RAM. Just threw in a previous SSD, loaded Fedora Kinoite, and am currently playing with Podman/Docker Compose for an Arr stack. By next week, I should be able to move it from the corner where the router is, and then finally deliver on the promise that I made my girlfriend back in February, when I bought the HDMI projector and a speaker set.*
That said, I’m all for your idea, especially if it comes with an IR receiver, too.
If I get another Optiplex (that one for homelabbing), I’ll look into COSA and Butane/Ignition files more seriously. That’s a very solvable issue, after all.
* We had to move since then and I cannot find the front right speaker, for some reason. The company, whose name looks like the antagonist of FF8, doesn’t seem to sell replacement speakers, either.
