43·2 months agoNot quite, Windows detects the monitor being attached and goes “Oh? What software goes with this?” and downloads the package provided by LG.
The monitor doesn’t say “Hey, I want you to download this”, Windows does that on it’s own.

For a real time warning system, there’s no need to actually record anything. Monitoring the video feed with no record capability should be fine.
Second, this sounds super easy to defeat with a printed photo card and a couple of Googley Eyes. 👀

Recently learned the actress who played Samara was the same actress who did the voice of Lilo in Lilo and Stitch.

I have a USB 4K drive connected to my PC right now.

This time, prices are UP across the board.
