I have the Fairphone 6 (not the plus) running /e/os. It’s pleasant enough that when I had to use a vanilla android tablet I was kind of like (is this how you people live?! 😄 this is awful!)

Naw we already use stuff like that in suspension. Those usually have rubber gaskets

I always love asking those people how their version is better. How did your experiment work out?
Nice, if there is anything you run into that doesn’t work feel free to let me know. I do accept pull requests too.
Lol love it. It’s a script sharing thread, if we all share our scripts. 🤘🔥😄
I’ve moved the whole house to Fedora KDE. Every laptop. The only things not running it, Steamdeck and Unraid server.
I wrote a script for first installs, its mostly to make my life easier, but you might like it too. I wrote it for Fedora 42, and updated it for 43, but it should run fine on 44 as well.
Just take a minute to esit then parameters at the top. https://github.com/mortalic/firstrun

Just hypothetical idea here, what if we token max using billionaire class subsidized llm, on a pi5 like device and make our own roku with ab openscad body. Put the client on every TV possible and the thumbnail is a middle finger? Just hypothetical of course wouldn’t actually use overly subsidized AI coding agents for open purposes… That’s crazy talk.
Right but also, turn on your sponsorblock.
Need to emulate iOS, not macos.
Going to add to this, if you’re developing apps for their walled garden (like me) then you have to buy their hardware and run their software. But I have it in my head that some day, we’ll get an emulator that can run on Linux and then Asahi can make that hardware useful again.
Real Questions, is there a competitor that offers the same feature set? Last I looked no one had anything to compete with github actions.
Good to know! All our devices are /e/os or GrapheneOS.
Got it, roll my own dns server and disable it on the aginet device
Ahh, so basically take dns off the aginet router.

Thanks for doing this, I was debating doing the same. It needs to exist.

Nice! Glad it’s helpful.

Sure, if there is anything you find that I missed, feel free to let me know, or open a PR.

I did a similar change years ago, the Fedora KDE. I’ve been maintaining a script of things I install on a fresh install.
Helped me get better writing bash. But feel free to use it.

I updated my image yesterday and haven’t run into any issues. I also haven’t tried the web backups yet. Soooo 🤷
About 1.5 days, 2 if I stretch it.
