Not when it comes to consumerism. By consuming their product you are directly supporting that creator. Installing omarchy boosts their numbers which attracts more users. We could all just not do that and not support nazis
You’re kind of asking 2 questions with this. When I think of a platform’s maturity, I’m thinking of the ecosystem for producing and publishing content. Tools, so to speak. In that regard, PT is fine. It has all the things you need to create your channel and begin publishing content as well as a good system for feedback. So as for maturity I would say yes it’s mature enough for people to start using it.
On to your second question:
do you think PT is ready to bring visibility to new creators?
No unfortunately not even close. There are very few big PT instances and even those that exist feel like they’re almost starved for content. There are a decent amount of creators on these instances but little to no viewers. It feels very similar to the earliest days of YT (think 2006-2008), but even smaller than YT was back then.
I do wish it’d catch on though
I settled with the distro that stays out of my way so I can get shit done. For me that’s Alpine, but that’s just me. Other people should use the distro that works for them.
We currently sell and ship Jolla C2 within the European Union, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland.
From a cursory glance, they don’t ship to any of the largest smartphone markets. That’s likely why you don’t hear much about them as opposed to any of the global distributors.

ollama with less make up
Ollama is a CLI tool. It’s distributed as such; there’s no official UI for it.
End users can setup their own frontend clients for ollama (such as OpenWebUI, or LibreWeb), but these are entirely separate projects from Ollama.
Jan ships with a UI, and as far as I can tell there isn’t a CLI component to it. Additionally, Jan uses llama.cpp as it’s backend, just like ollama does. If anything, Jan is ollama with extra make up.
Seriously, this is the way. I did this too in about 15 mins. Also setup a simple rule to allow the vlan to reach my homeserver in a separate vlan specifically on Plex and Jellyfin ports. That’s it. They cant phone home. You still enjoy your own media.
