For sure, that’s why I dont trust any of them. Its interesting because unlike open source, open weight models don’t tell you anything about what was included or excluded.

I get what you are saying, but its not just data egress, its how the model was trained. I’m thinking of models trained to inject security weaknesses, for example.
Sitting here in Berlin with high wind, rain and cool temeparatures… I’m not sure what all the fuss is about.
I’m getting Throbbing Gristle vibes from this…

Is this confirmed? No one will stand against him?

Also, I don’t of any VM provider that doesn’t require some sort of I’d already, at least an email address.

No one should be able to delete or change backups. This infra was in any case vulnerable to a ransomware attack as any bad actor that breaks in can delete the database and encrypt the backups with a key they promise to share in return for bitcoin.
No lying, wiggling my mouse until it becomes HUGE is my go to activity during boring video calls.
Maybe this career is not for you…

Kate FTW!
I was thinking of the Nvidia connection. I definitely wouldn’t trust a database written by an AI!
I never knew that. I feel just a bit bad for loving Postgres now…
No, the bottleneck is fucking electron apps.
My 12? 13? Year old Dell laptop does just fine running Ubuntu. It’ll probably be fine for my needs for another 3 or 4 years at least.
Sure, I could try to remember what the command is, or just use fuck. I choose the later every time.
git checkout -b and then fuck when the first time I push fails.
I dream of an alternate reality where everyone started using Kate instead of VSCode.

I’m not an expert, but if BGP started routing traffic through U.S. services they could MITM traffic ( if it wasn’t properly secured), but they could also just DoS which might have been enough for the purposes at that time.

BGP doesn’t use DNS
I don’t about your business, but we’ve had LOT of conversations about how much we trust these models. Not just about data egress, but on what they are trained to do/not to do - Chinese or not.
