Just skimmed their history. They have decent art skill, but the jokes often read as being deep for a teenager.

For a hot moment I thought maybe they know English as a second language and the humor was lost in translation. Manga sometimes hits me like that.

That said, there is a reason some artists team up with one making the jokes and the other making the art.

It takes a lot to put your stuff out there, and their panels eventually do have a positive response. I am guessing they are figuring it out.

I mean, the relevant threat there was being turned in to a “human puddle,” and that’s exactly what happened for the person playing it safe, just because some idiot insisted because of special reasons, and all because some kiddie wanted her whimsical present.

Anyway, that was my take. And indeed a chronic clusterfluff, as you get to know ‘princess mentality’ and ‘elite mentality,’ and all that…

      Good comic!

“diurnambule” is a play on “noctambule” which is French for a night owl kind of person (or, in a more archaic form, someone afflicted with sleepwalking. Literally means “who walks during the night”). So a “diurnambule” would be someone who… is more active during the day, I guess. Anyway, yeah, that sounds like French.

The joke is that events transpire and one character experiences negative emotions
