As much as I loved Heath Ledger’s Joker on screen, seeing it on anything else is so cringe. I know at least 2 people with Joker tattoos and they are exactly the kind of person you would assume.
I remember going to a convention the year after The Dark Knight came out and there were so many dudes dressed up as Nurse Joker and I can’t help but think that many of them were just aching for the opportunity to do a little cross-dressing.
Wanna know how I got these scars? Top surgery.

Great. I’m totally going to get criticized for my Gundam models.
The irony of the Joker next to that Thanos poster. That poster is everything the Joker tries to burn to the ground.
Don’t worry - those who ascribe to alpha/beta/sigma mentality don’t know what cognitive dissonance is.
Yikes. It’s only missing a Rick and Morty poster.
The fridge with nothing but beer and condiments is accurate.
I hate most Hollywood movies, especially super hero stuff.
But shouldn’t you judge people on who they are, rather than the shows/media they enjoy? He’s clearly been nice/fun enough for her to go back to his place… Maybe she needs to be less judgemental on the small stuff.
“You like media/stuff I don’t like” probably isn’t a good reason to get out of there. Plenty of shitty people have good taste, plenty of good people have bad or generic taste.
True. But also: Plenty of people with Red Flag personality traits/behaviours/tendencies/outspoken thoughts can be charming, smart, funny (other desirable qualities) within the first few days or even weeks. After which their ‘true colours’ are revealed. I think this is what this comic is trying to illustrate.
Edit to add: it’s not just about the media. It’s the villains that are represented and represent very specific ideals.
