NVidia wins if people run local models on their hardware too. Hugging face is not a competitor, it is an enabler.

But it’s light arranged in a specific pattern!

I feel like this would be easier to draw conclusions from if I had absolute counts rather than percentages. Was the change in the Linux share due to other platforms (Windows) increasing their numbers, or did the total number of Linux users dip and then return? The latter seems difficult to explain.

The competition is Chinese and doesn’t give a fuck about US regulations.

That’s not greedy — it’s smart.

The people I know who bought one don’t give a shit about ethics. They stayed away from them for as long as they were socially unacceptable, but as soon as the storm blew over they saw their chance to buy one.
Just… a data point. My experience is that at least 20% of a population doesn’t care about stuff like this. They care about their own social status, but not ethics.

Those who can’t do… teach

Oh no!
Anyway…
If you have to proofread when deploying you’re doing things wrong

But how will they achieve exponential growth if they don’t keep putting more stuff into all their products

Arguably they’re also potentially more helpful if they can detect who you’re looking at and only amplify that person’s voice.

Also, 7-zip is available for Linux too

If you’re going to measure demand in a way that makes sense for a demand vs supply formula, you must do it in a way that’s independent of the price.
Prices are increasing because demand is high, and supply is not keeping up.

I’ve used libgourou successfully many times in the past year to remove DRM using my ADE key.
I angrily started doing this for every book I buy after changing reading device to a newer Kobo, and discovering that all the download links for .acsm files that my book store provides will expire after two years. I.e. after those two years it’s impossible to move them to a new device unless I remove DRM.

If that’s the smallest computer chip in the world, the hand must be tiny

Satya lives in the biggest glass house in the world and yet he’s up there throwing the biggest fucking boulders. How about he just shuts his mouth and realizes he has overstayed his welcome by about ten years. The ignorance is mind boggling.

The “no restrictions” part is a very strong signal. Any prompt to an image model is basically a coordinate in its latent space, and “no restrictions” will point straight at the darker areas.

Turns out, I am no longer human
I just put my network card into promiscuous mode
