Western educated man who is pissed off at the US for abandoning his political ascension? Slightly better than a meth addicted turboracist, a crazy murderer, and a child molester. I doubt bin Laden is going to be able to do much opinion changing in a single evening and I doubt that he’d outright kill or molest them.
Bin Laden fathered 24 children, the first of which was with his first cousin when she was 16 and he was 17. They went on to have ten more children. The other 13 were spread amongst five other wives. They also found several beheading videos on his computer. He also believed muslims should kill any US civilians they find until the US withdraws support for Israel.
I think definitely killing and maybe molestation would be on the table.

Lots of people have gore videos on their devices, doesn’t mean they will do it to someone any chance they get, correct me if im wrong, al-qaeda didn’t do beheadings, that was ISIS. And lots of muslims in palestine, afghanistan, and iran also hold beliefs about killing US civilians. We shouldn’t judge these things in a vaccum but rather in the appropriate context of US actions. US imperialism has been the number one cause of such sentiments.
He was very ideologically aligned and islam was a central piece in that ideology. And islam forbids going against your words, it would undermine his ideology a lot if he violated the trust.
Thankfully I’m not an American, so think my theoretical family would be more likely okay with him than the others.
Bin Laden could be trusted because from what I know he never purposely wanted kids targeted. One murdered several children, one murdered too many to count in concentration camps as well as ordering soldiers to do it because he didn’t see them as human. The last one was a sex pest and I wouldn’t trust kids with.

Not even remotely close. I saw him first and before seeing the rest of the faces I already knew that this was an usian thing so he was going to be “a major evil”.
Fact is, aside religion, we’d have a lot in common, including hating the US so, if any, it would give for an interesting evening for my kids and a more interesting post-evening chat with him.

Bin Laden loved his kids. Part of the reason he moved to that compound in Pakistan was because he wanted his kids to have a semblance of a normal life. He’s discuss politics with is Eldest daughters. When he was captured he was found asleep with his youngest son.
You must not know very much about Bin Laden. Give his Wikipedia articles a quick skim. Your kids wouldn’t survive the night. If they survive an hour, it’s because they decided to kill them slowly.
I just read every section that sounded relevant and he sounds like a great guy besides the religious fundamentalism. Wrote poetry, took his kids on picnics, encouraged the american public to work with Obama on stopping climate change…

Woman who recently had a mistrial go viral for being the latest influencer courtroom case. Similar to Depp v Heard. The woman’s name is Lindsay Clancy, I believe.
Notable things (viewing this through the lens of my wife who told me about this case):
- flimsy hard evidence against the mother
- mother allegedly tried to kill herself 3 different ways after snapping and allegedly killing her children while the husband was out of the house
- a lot of the evidence seemed to be hearsay from the husband
- children’s bodies were cremated by the father
- father is suspected of having a mistress because he moved on after this relatively quickly.
- jury trial ended in a hung jury, because 1 juror tried to reverse “12 Angry Men” it to get all other jurors to switch to a Guilty verdict.
- Clancy admitted to the murders initially
My unsolicited opinion is that she very likely did commit the crimes, but the State has insufficient evidence to convict due to the police’s negligence during their investigation.

also this guy is spreading lies. the evidnece is very clear she did it, and she confessed. there was no despite as to her guilt in murdering her children.
the issue is whether she can be held criminally liable for first degree murder. if the charges had been manslaughter or something else, it would have been a slam dunk conviction. but due to her mental state at the time, it’s questionable if she was capable/committed first degree, or premeditated, murder.
but people dont’ want to talk about the legal issues in the case… they just want to talk push the emotional bullshit that she was absolutely innocent, or absolutely guilty, and there can’t be anything in between. and lots and lots of people like the db0 user commenting here are spreadly lies about the case.
to the point that many of the TikTok moms who support her innocence are working entirely outside of the factual evidence of the case. which is also more evidence of how social media itself is causing psychosis in many folks, as it’s well-documented already how social media amplifies delusional and paranoid thinking.

I didn’t even mention the fact that there’s been a giant push for people to claim that the father committed the murders. It’s pretty far out there for claims.
I know another comment some issues with the way her specific state handles insanity pleas. Of that, I am not too in the know about. So I didn’t mention it.
What the state lacks evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt is that she was sufficiently sane to be held criminally liable at the time of the murders in the state of Massachusetts. That last bit is important because it’s the only state where the prosecution has to prove sanity rather than the defense having to prove insanity.
Personally I suspect she’s not guilty by reason of insanity, but I’m not certain I’d feel that way beyond a reasonable doubt were I on the trial. And it seems a large portion of people are of the opinion neither side managed to clear the bar of reasonable doubt

He was hard on them, for sure, he was basically what you imagine when you think of a deep south US prepper survivalist - a bit eccentric and paranoid, but intelligent - he would be taking his kids on long hikes, teaching them how to sleep in the desert with only sand as a blanket, but he did it out of a deep desire to protect them and give them skills to survive.
